Welcome to the Nebraska Injured Brain Network!

Thousands of Nebraskans have suffered a brain injury at some point in their lives–and for those of us who have, we are now living with an injured brain, and we are Peers.

We may have healed on the outside, and you might not see evidence of the injury, but our brains are still injured and we face many challenges day to day — we are walking a lifelong journey of hoped-for recovery. Our families, friends and caregivers walk that journey with us. Our professional service providers assist us.  By visiting this site you have an opportunity to connect with other Peers if you are a Peer, or other Caregivers, or other Providers.  And if you’re not a Peer, we are especially grateful that you are here, because you will learn more about our unique Voice and experience.

Together, we are all members of the Injured Brain Community, connected by NIBN. Together we have a collective Voice. Together we are stronger. Together we support each other. Together we foster hope. And together we help each other be our best selves.
